The genre
is purely impressionist:
the light is the essential element, the stroke immediacy
too, the defective, but effective brushstroke.
Oil paintings, mixed technique or Indian ink paintings
or drawings always reveal energetic lines of strength,

almost
a magnetic field of vectors. It’s a painting of
action up to reach the pathos – the wait.
Sculptures are light and aerial with reflected and reflecting
lights, almost to contradict the concept of stability
of the same structure.

Whatever material is used, from terracotta to copper
or glass-melting the impact is immediate, solar and
transmits a strong and disruptive feeling.
The great rose windows and the glass butterfly are a
conceptual example where lightness, strength, light
and tension are perfectly combined. |
